Rann of Kutch is famous for its salty desert. This beautiful land covers the area in Gujarat,
Indian up to the Sindh province, Pakistan. This beautiful land is reputed as the largest salt desert in the world
. The word Rann is the hindi word derived fromthe Sanskrit word “Irina” which means desert.

city of Kutch, which is Bhuj. The nearest airport and railway station are situated in Bhuj only. While
the season of Rann Utsav is going on one can get a bus from the Bhuj and Ahmedabad as well.

The Rann of Kutch is also home to the many wild and unique creature. It is famous for flamingos and
wild ass, as these can be seen here often.
